About This Course
Learners would be able to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the various forms of horizontal surfaces in a safe manner at Level 1, through the following Learning Units:
- Prepare for cleaning activities
- Remove spillage, loose dust, debris and impacted soil from hard floor surfaces and carpets
- Perform mopping of hard floor surfaces
- Reinstate work area after cleaning
- Reporting discrepancies at the workplace
What You'll Learn
This WSQ course for Level 1 cleaning crew covers the basic knowledge and skills required in removing loose dust and debris, spillage and impacted soil and mopping of hard floor surfaces manually, as well as removing loose dust, debris, spillage and stains from carpets.

Minimum Entry Requirements
Develop Reading, Listening and Speaking of English to a proficiency level equivalent to Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 2.
