Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Understand the importance of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH).
- Identify the common risks and hazards involved in environmental services industry.
- Report unsafe working conditions or work practices in accordance with organisational procedures.
- Apply the hierarchy of WSH risk control measures.
- Follow WSH practices to prevent accidents or minimise risks within the work area.
Course Outlines
- Understand WSH concerns:
- Understand the importance of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH).
- Identify the common risks and hazards involved in environmental services industry.
- Engage in WSH activities:
- Report unsafe working conditions or work practices in accordance with organisational procedures.
- Apply the hierarchy of WSH risk control measures.
- Common types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used in environmental services industry
- The learner will be able to follow WSH practices to prevent accidents or minmise risks within the work area.
Who should attend
- Company-sponsored Cleaning Crew and Cleaning Stewards (Team Leaders) from licensed cleaning businesses
- Self-sponsored Individuals considering a career in the cleaning / Environmental Services industry
Minimum Entry Requirement
This course does not assume any prior knowledge or skills or experience associated with workplace safety and health.
Learners are encouraged to:

- Have basic knowledge on own work role and the corresponding responsibilities and limitations
- Develop Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking of English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 1
- Develop Numeracy skills to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 1

You will be awarded a Statement Of Attainment (SOA) upon completion of the course.

REFUND POLICY
- For course withdrawal, the refund amount will depend on how many days before course start date that the withdrawal request is received by BESPOKE, as below:
- More than Ten (10) days – Refund of 100% of course fee collected
- Four (4) to Ten (10) days - Refund of course fee collected an administration charge of $53.50.
- Three (3) days or less – No refund of course fee collected.
- For any amount of refund approved by BESPOKE, the refund amount will be made through a mode of payment that will be determined by BESPOKE at its sole discretion.
- There will be no refund for partial attendance of the course.
